On the 15th of December, we hosted our first ever Twang Christmas Choir!
At 5:30pm, we all gathered at Twang to have some hot drinks and to warm-up (vocally and because of the cold) before the performance. Francesca and Alessandra took us through some fun warm-ups, one of our favourites being 'Down in the Jungle!'
Then at 6pm we ventured out into the December cold, with Francesca and Matt playing the guitar for us on the PA to sing our carols and Christmas songs to. Everyone was given a fun Christmas hat and a candle (battery-powered, of course) along with some lyric sheets to share between us so we could get ready to sing!
We sang songs ranging from 'Away in a Manger' and 'All I Want for Christmas is You.' Everyone sang beautifully and we are so proud of all of you who came to join in!
After we finished our nine songs, we came in to warm up from the cold with some more hot drinks.
We want to thank you all for coming, whether you came to watch or to sing, or stumbled upon us singing songs on Penge High Street, and we wish you a Merry Christmas!
