Julia first started playing violin at age of 5, encouraged by her parents who are also musicians. At the age of 16, she entered the renowned Music University of Vienna, received training with Prof. Jan Pospichal (concertmaster of the Vienna Symphony) and graduated with first class honours in 2007.
Extensive solo and orchestra performances throughout Germany, Austria, Italy, China, Japan, Canada and many other countries have provided her with a wealth of experience.
Julia is currently teaching and performing as a freelance musician in orchestras and chamber music groups throughout London and the UK as well as touring in Europe as the solo electric violinist.
She's also finishing her MA in Music Industry Management, organizes international conferences in her spare time, but performing and teaching are her biggest passions.
